Love Me or Love Me Not?

Ok , its almost valentines day. Are we waiting for loads of chocolate filled lovelys to blow our diets( lifstyle change)? Or are we planning a sexy evening witht that special someone.?
I think the holiday is overrated. Its another day to spend our hard earned money on stuff we don't need. If we truly want to show our love for each other why do we need a special day for that? Why do we have to buy something?
I say give that special someone the gift they really want. The gift of yourself.  Spend time with them doing what they want, share some quiet moments with them. Share your thoughts.
While you are at it, don't forget its important to love your self first in order to know how to love someone else. Take care of yourself on Feb 14, give yourself a big hug and a kiss. And the whole world will see you are loved and hopefully love you back.

On another note.....

I saw this at a website I frequent and thought I would include it here. So here goes.
I saw this at another website and thought it would be nice to do. Here goes.

What’s happening in my home?….

Boredom, since NC got snow last week and more to come this Friday, kids were out of school 3 days. Over weekened we were iced in, and it didn't get much better Monday, Tues or Wed. We watched movies( luv Redbox) and played a little wii & wi Fit Plus. But mostly we were bored. Glad kids went back to school today. I am still bored can't wait to go back to work.

In my kitchen…End of month findings. So cupboard is pretty bare. Making due with whats left. Last night BBQ chicken, tonight tuna casserole.

With our marriage… getting along so far

With the children… Oldest is a real good debater, please let him be rich and famous from this. He definitely has strong views about alot of things. Little one still trying to figure out what he is doing in school.

Around the homestead… Cold, cloudy

In my “Inner Man”….   Not sure about this one.

What is your Inner Man? In 2 Corinthians 4 Paul gives us a clue about what he means when he says “the inner man”. In that scripture he says that “our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day” (4:16 KJV). So for Christians even though there is something about us that is getting old, decaying and deteriorating and dying..there is also something about us that is growing, becoming more alive, richer and stronger every day we live and follow Christ. That is what Paul calls our “inner man.”
